Raymond Carretier

  • backstory

Raymond is this kind of man who is curious, intelligent, devoted, as shy and discreet than he is generous. As one of the first Architects to work on the site of La Pointe neighborhood in Réunion Island by the end of the XXth century, he was the witness of the last tracks of colonial and indentured labor in the South Indian Ocean Creole society. Aware of this peculiar heritage, he consciously documented this topic on photography. Here is his unique and unvaluable legacy.
