Fanny FROMENT

  • backstory

Schoolteacher by day, Fanny had no formal training in art and grew up constantly traveling, following her parents through Africa and surrounded by artists.

  • .

She says Collage came to her naturally when she needed it most.
It acted as therapy and still allows her to explore the depths of her soul.

  • .

It's a very personal meditation on themes that touch her: nature, femininity, eroticism, tribal and primitive arts, or the world of the Pre-Raphaelites.

  • .

She loves the infinite creativity of collage, which allows for "absolutely anything". The chance encounter of images that might never have met.

  • .

It's a real renaissance to be able to build something new from existing materials.

artists in creative residency : Season 2024-2025

Creative Residences 2024-2025

The Objet Témoin Foundation launches its second season of artist residencies for 2024-2025, marked by a resolutely international outlook and a diversity of artistic practices. With a program designed to encourage a mix of media, the foundation invites artists from Europe and beyond to explore the richness of dialogue between disciplines. Whether in the visual, digital, performance or new media arts, each resident is encouraged to push back the traditional boundaries of his or her art.

At the heart of this season is a strong commitment to cultural mediation. Artists in residence are invited not only to create, but also to share and pass on their know-how. Through workshops, public meetings and exhibitions, they play an active role in enriching the local and international scene. This approach fosters a living transmission of cultures and an intergenerational exchange around contemporary practices.

The foundation thus emphasizes the importance of exchange and dialogue, both between cultures and between artistic disciplines, offering a creative space that is both a research laboratory and a place for sharing accessible to all.
